Friday’s posting …

Filed under: Notes — JDE @ 8:56 am

Not quite sure when my last posting was, so this could be quite an update: I (finally!) managed to get the following simulation to work — so I believe, anyway. The leader will move in a horizontal line, left to right, and the ducklings will follow it.

I now want to extend this to make the leader behaviour more interesting, to see if the ducks will still follow it or not.

  1. The budget hotel chain Travelodge has announced it is to remove pay-per-view adult TV content from its 20,000 in room tel
evisions – the first major chain to do so. Instead, Travelodge will commence a 10 m rollout of new flat screen digital TV sets relying on content from the DTT platform Freeview.
“We have an ever increasing number of families staying with us and it’s appropriate that we remove adult TV. Our other customers tell us that they would prefer to use a hotel without adult content available so we have responded to live tv adult needs, said Travelodge’s chief operating officer, Guy Parsons.
Adult porn has in the past been a lucrative source of income for major hotel chains that purposefully limit the number of available multichannel services. However, the UK market is held by just two companies that pay the chains only 10% of the transaction fee.

  2. Sky News is joining the Jalipo online marketplace. The 24-hour news channel is being made available in three different quality streams.
Sky News head John Ryley said that it was appropriate for the channel to appear on Jalipo given its continued innovation. “Sky News’ ambition is to make breaking news available through as many routes as possible, recognising the changing habits of consumers everywhere. This trial will allow us to understand how we can deliver that across Europe, alongside our strong television audience.”
Viewers to Jalipo purchase so-called J Credits that allow them to watch as much or as little of the channels they are presented with. Already Euronews, Al Jazeera English, Bloomberg, Deutsche Welle, France 24 and Phoenix CNE are available under Jalipo’s news adult stream tv section.

  3. To put it quite simply and non-mechanical, blackheads are little bumps embedded into the pores of our skin. They are usually yellowish or blackish in color.
Blackheads are a type of acne called an open comedone. According to medical practitioners,
natural remedy blackhead are the first stage of acne!!!
You can extract blackheads yourself if there is no sign of infection on or surrounding the blemish.
