Abstract
- remove brackets from names if mentioning them in an abstract — makes it look like a reference
- abstracts do not have references in them
- leave out names totally if possible
- some like the following: “prominent flocking model are assessed for future car flocking models”
- trying to communicate the “reason behind” / why should we care / what is the angle of the piece
- possible to write something like “it is concluded by criterion X, Y, Z that the most successful ITEM is ABC, because of reasons d,e,f”
- note: always seeking precision when writing — remove statements like “in general”, use “ithas been identified”
Other
- honey bees and flocking: do they simply fly in a straight line?
- phase change of flocking: when do birds move from flying in clusters to flying in harder formations?
